Two friends from Southern California descended upon a country ass location in the South Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee in 2017, with a vision of a real life Charlie and the Chocolate Factory community, filled will food, medicine and abundance for all invited guests who stepped foot on the land.

Fruits and nuts, wouldn't you know? We were from California after all, but they grow so well here!
My partner in crime died in March and I find myself alone with all these chores, and nobody but a few neighbors to share my abundance with.
Hoping to find a small family or couple or stable single person or two or three to steward this land as permanent residents and managers. This land is connected to the grid, and we have fiber optics Wifi for all those who work remotely.

Everything is in, all growing and thriving beautifully, just need some cool (unvaccinated) people with likeminded visions to come check it out, stay a spell and see if the area, lifestyle and personalities mesh.
I am a strict vegetarian, I eat eggs and cheddar cheese, but my dogs are omnivores, as they should be! I choose not to dictate what others eat, but I hope those interested are little to no meat-eaters. At the very least, can you cook your meat over an open fire, instead of the small two burner hotplate inside? Thanks!
I'm a lover of herbal medicine and love to make my own tinctures, salves, ect and hope to find others openminded if not interested in the same. I live a healthy, clean eating lifestyle and I provide a safe space for the local animal residents who live on this land and hope you are as respectful as I am for wildlife.
If interested, I can provide a link to my Workaway profile and it should answer even more questions you may have.

Thanks for reading, have a fabulous day!
Nicole

Actually, Nicole, looks like I can't send you a message, so I will just post here. I am also from (Northern) California. I am an herbalist, medicine-maker. I am interested in Tennessee. I was out there a couple of times last year visiting and really like it. I am interested in growing food, living simply. I am vegetarian. I would love to get more info!
Thanks,
Lisa

I look for where I can grow everything for food, medicine and materials possible on some good land for it with any others, to subsist on this, and I see it is the way to continue in this world without depending on more being taken from the world, which should continue.

Hi Nicole! It sounds quite lovely. I sent you a pm!

The glass is neither half full or half empty. It is too big. But this tiny ad is just right:
