I have designed a short online course about medicinal forest gardening. It is on offer for free from the Medicinal Forest Garden Trust. This taster course 'Discover Medicinal Forest Gardening' gives an introduction to designing, harvesting and understanding healing plants in the forest garden! Details and enrolment at our Thinkific site.
There are three lessons aimed at the beginner student interested in herbs in a forest garden context:
- more understanding of medicinal forest gardening
- examples of incredible potential of healing trees and shrubs
- ideas for the development of growing and harvesting situations
- several ways to make plant preparations safely at home
- understanding how to find out more
Each lesson consists of several short videos supplemented with downloads and activities.

I think this may be just what I need to expand my horizons a little - Thanks Anne! I've been making meadowsweet tincture and have been happy with that, but many of the other plants and trees I have may well be useful medicinally and a bit of "hand holding" to start off is a good idea.

Eliminate 95% of the weeds in your lawn by mowing 3 inches or higher. Then plant tiny ads:
