Growing New Zealand spinach in pots

Hi, i want to grow new Zeland spinach in pots. Ive read that it's root are shallow and it tends to grow horizontally.
What size pots do You recommend me?

It's not too fussy. 2-3 litre pots with a good soil mix ought to be enough to keep it happy. The healthiest plants (and tastiest) I've come across grew in the dunes at a beach in the South Island. The salt definitely improved the taste.
