Hey! So, my snap peas for that last couple of years have been unimpressive (heat, drought). This year I thought "stuff that, I'll plant shell peas for fresh eating." Homestead variety.

They grew well. We've had a few nice picks, a big bag in the fridge, and we are enjoying them thoroughly.

The problem is, Dear Wife says they are a "one and done" variety. I hadn't thought of that. So I have nice vigorous pea plants, picked clean. But dammit I want more peas! Is there a way to encourage them to kick out new flowers and produce a second batch?

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
