Howdy Robin, welcome to Permies. That is only about 6 hours from me !
Is the web page only on Facebook? ( I can't access that at work)
Can you give me a bit more info here?
Thanks.

REGRARIAN CONSULTANCY COURSE
RAC - NEW MEXICO - 2013

Owl Peak Farm is hosting a Regrarian Consultancy Course (RAC) with Darren Doherty, one of the world’s experts on keyline design.

Keyline Design is a farm planning program that deals head on with the issues of water & soil security, road, tree & building placement along with fencing layout, all of which considers site topography in a practical and cost-effective way that any producer can apply on any property. The control of water is vital to any holding whether it be to mitigate the effects of flooding or to reduce the potential for drought, and Keyline has the program to deal with these and many other issues that many producers face.

This 3-day workshop focuses on drought proofing, soil building and regenerating farmland using skills from Keyline Design, Carbon Farming, Permaculture and more. It will benefit farmers, ranchers, water harvesters, designers, and anyone interested in regenerative land management.

The land design practicum will be at El Ojito Ranch in La Madera,
5 minutes from Owl Peak Farm. La Madera is located 1hr 15 mins Northwest of Santa Fe and 1 hr west of Taos.
The classroom piece of the workshop will be held at
Felipe Ortega's in La Madera. http://www.felipeortega.com/

November 8th-10th in La Madera, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Workshop fee is $375 for 3 days, meals and lodging included
