Low Blue berry bushes in southern indiana

I apologize if this is in the wrong spot. Can you grow Low blue berry bushes in southern part of indiana, bottom of zone 6? And if so do they spread out on their own to cover areas? Any info would be appreciated, thank you.

Lowbush blueberries are Zone 3-6 or 7 hardy depending on the variety, so there should be no problem as long you meet their cultural requirements (acid soil being the most critical element). There are also numerous interspecific hybrids with different growth habits and hardiness.

They do spread, but it will be slowly. If you are trying to get them to cover a large area it may be more practical to plant multiple bushes rather than wait for one or two to fill it in.
