Hey, my name is Ivar and im working towards self-sufficient off-grid living. Im christian and dreaming of building my farm for my future wife and kids. I like a lot of animals and my goal in the future is produce almost everythink me and people i love needs.

A bit of me:
-Christian
-I own small construction bisness
-Im good with my hands what comes to building
-Love animals
-Seek for pure and natural life

My dream day in the future:
I wake up to go check my dogs, sheeps, chickens, cows and then get ready to eat breakfast with my family and after small break i would go help my wife with garden or continue my project i have at that moment. In our free time we would go enjoy nature, swim, play, learn, grill or socialize with our neighbours or community as family. Later at the day we would dedicate a bit time to read bible all together and talk what came to mind from it and at evening we would admire beautiful view and sunset. I know its not realistic to always have days like this and most of the time it would be hard work at least in the start for many years.

If this text sounds you i would like to get to know with you even if its not leading to anything. It would be nice to connect with people who share same believes and goals😊

Hi Ivar - great to see more Christian men on this site. You have so much to offer a young lady and I hope she finds you soon. Blessings to you in your search!

Ivar, are you Orthodox, by chance? Just making an informed guess...

If so, and you're looking for the USA to find a nice Christian hippie girl, looking in the far north, and mostly east. There are almost zero Orthodox Christians in the USA, even today. It's a growing branch of Christianity here, but the minority. California is probably the largest young people who are Orthodox (which I find ironic), and Alaska is the OLDEST population of Orthodox Christians in the USA.

For what it's worth.

I have found , as a Christian myself, that most women in the USA are no longer Christian, really, but in name only. Further, almost NONE of those women want to live in a farm, or permaculture lifestyle. You are looking in a very Niche market for love! Most of the women I meet who are "permies" are very liberal, often agnostic, if not outright atheist. It's strange to have more in common (lifestyle) with a liberal atheist than whatever flavor of Christian... which is really bizarre to me, since we were created in a Garden, and the book ends with the Garden restored... I think most of this is due to conservative women being more identified with culture than the church, and the liberal women being more counter-culture, which Christians ought to really be (it seems to me).

What a time to be alive!  Just thinking out loud and maybe this will bring more eyes to your post, as well.

All the best!

Hello Ivar,

This is literally the exact dream that I have . I currently live in NYC, but I want to move anywhere where I am submerged in nature and surrounded by animals. I grew up in the countryside, and I have always been happier and healthier in that environment. I am also a Christian, and I'm looking for someone to learn and grow with!
