I would not say rocket stove but certainly a mass heater . In line with Paul Wheatons video on using low watt micro heaters and incandecent lights to heat a space. Simply ingenious . Welcome to permies Dave !

I'm gonna try it in my workshop.
I don't think it will warm up a 24' x 30' building but it may warm up the space above my work bench.
