Hardworking 25 year old california native looking to stay productive and travel within the US

Hey there permies,
I have been living and working on my family farm/ranch for the last two years, and am looking to leave here, but continue working while I travel. I've got a toyota tundra and I'm gonna buy a camper shell and head down through California and primarily move through the southwest. I am planning to leave in February and spend anywhere from 2-4 weeks at each location. I am a smart, easy to get along with guy, I work hard and love to help.

Let me know if you have anything in mind or know of a friend who has a farm that needs help.

Right now their main source of income are poultry houses but they also grow vegetables/greenhouses, have cattle, pigs & goats. There's a lot of land, approximately 100 acres that isn't really being utilized as pasture or anything so there are possibilities to starting something new. It would be nice to generate more farm income but they could also use the extra help with farm operations. With so many new things happening in renewable energy, farming, etc. I feel like they're a little behind and would love for the farm to become more sustainable. I hope I was able to answer your question. How long would you be interested in staying?

Well, probably not long enough to really establish a lot of new infrastructure. I have an internship in march and i am committed to being where i am until at least mid january. So i do not want to give you the impression that it would be a long term thing. However, that being said, i am willing to work hard and help you guys with pre-existing projects and/or establishing new infrastructure. Lets be in touch if that sounds interesting to you. I will write to you when i know dates of when i would be in that area.

Hey I might have some short term volunteer work if you are interested. I'm really close to you in Southern Oregon, I'm eight miles from the California border on hw199. If you want to swing up to Oregon for a half a week or more in Feb to kick off your trip. So far its been just me and my handicap neighbor. Yeah I installed a 16' gate by myself. I also lifted a 75lb loft bed and balanced it on my shoulders while drilling it in the side of my wall, somehow it worked out great. It would sure be nice to have an extra hand! Yes I am terrible at some things like framing in a door and stuff like fencing, mainly because I'm stubborn. Right now I'm trenching my water line. By hand, digging rods and a pick axe. Missed the weather as its 20 degrees now and my poly pipe is laying out in the field:) Oh well, I just walk down to the well house for water. I'm in the very beginning of my land (<1 year), and I'm not exactly an expert at any of this stuff, but having fun! I'm hoping to put in a pond around that time of year, but I haven't finalized my plans yet. PM for my personal email because I don't check here often. Feb is cold and wet here.
