We're planning our first little greenhouse, with some more "real" ones on the way within a year or two... it's hard trying to prioritize things since we don't have much cash haha. Anyhow, our main issues so far have been slugs eating our seedlings, they seem to be able to get just about anywhere... We already have LOTS of great underlayment to put down for weed control, so with that down and some gravel on top we'll have a nice floor, but to stop the slugs, I'm thinking of dusting the gravel with lime. Seems like that would solve the slug issue, and possibly some issues with bacteria/molds as well. Any reasonable reason not to do this? also any other ideas that folks can think of would be appreciated. For now this will mainly be for starting plants for our large market garden, so no need for year round protection
