Built my 8" RMH out side by way of Ernie book and 7x7 all the way through feed tube is 9.5" fire channel is 12.5" flue is all fire bricks not insulated 31" some of this was cob to seal the gaps in the fire channel and the flue. I have had 3 burns in it and all 3 flamed the kindling. What is going on here ?

If it is all tight, I would suggest checking your flue height it may want to be higher, 31" sounds very short. I am assuming that your are referring to the riser when you say flue? If you raise that higher that should add to suction. As well, what is your gap between the riser and the barrel top? it should be around 2" give or take 1/4".....some things to check....
