I was empathizing for the moment on how horrible the weather is outside here in NC and then thinking to myself how gawd awful (more like abysmal) it is over there! Its ironical for a historic arctic chill to show face the VERY first winter. I imagine it would be humorous after all is said and done given all is well, but at the time being the weather is realistically life threatening so understanding that the community is a work-in process I am not just curious but concerned. Are there people living on site at the moment?

I suspect they will answer for themselves, but from the wonderful pictures posted on related threads, our 'pioneers' (in the best sense of the word, if you know what I mean ;), are doing fantastically well! I count 5 in the wofati, 2 in the tipi, and at least 3 (more?) in the base camp.... any adjustment in the numbers, Jocelyn? Any visitors in these winter months? How is the traveling between the 'lab' and base? And how are the livestock holding up? cows? any pigs?

This is sooooo thrilling! Thanks you guys for letting us 'come along' on the grand adventure ;)
