Hi all,
I live in the Asheville area.
My family and I raises rabbits, chickens, and we are starting into aquaponics.
There is always something more to learn.

Yes, welcome! I visited a friend down in that area last fall and just loved it. In fact, I have already made plans to visit again this spring. Tell us a little more about your home "project".

My home project...... We started with rabbits, as we could get away with "pet" rabbits in our rented environment. 4 legged "chicken" pot pie is a household favorite. Then we bought a house on an acre, and shortly after added chickens (Buff orpingtons), and a small garden.
This year is planned to see the addition of cuckoo marans, and a goat to help clear the back quarter of the property of brush. The rabbits are being phased out for now (they are alot of work, and upkeep) We also want less yard, and more food.
Mostly....we have (More than) full time jobs, and would rather be homesteading.
