techology verses the environment?

That's not an idea I agree with at all. Humans were smart enough to make a mess of things and I think they are smart enough to pull everyone out of it... if they get a little more focused on that goal.

In that sentiment, I wanted to suggest a site that is not specifically about Missoula. However, the owner lives here. If you spend a lot of time on the internet, the name "vlog brothers" might sound familiar to you. Or maybe you've heard of Nerd Fighters. If neither of these rings a bell, that is okay. The point is that both of these phrases were created by two brothers from Montana, John and Hank Green, who are basically celebrities of the internet. How one of them, Hank manages to live in Missoula with apparently no one taking notice of him or his extremely cool website on how technology relates to fixing the environment is a mystery to me.

Hank had a host of sites related to ecogeek.com.  Sadly he seems to have closed all but ecogeek down.  I used to blog on envirowonk.com (enviro policy) and he had a food site too. Ecogeek is great though - cool stuff.  I second Destini's suggestion!

Hey that's a pretty cool site!  I really like the article about the new car fuel economy labels and everything on that site is very informative!  I had no idea that was run by local Missoulians.
