Check out Simon's cool house:

Looks sort of WOFATI-like.
Here's a link to his site with more info.

And a great article on the house from CNN:
How to build your home from scratch for $35,000

Imagine if it were possible to build your own home, in this day and age, for less than $35,000.
Or to cut up some timber and piece your new home together like a giant jigsaw puzzle.

What if you could create, with your own hands, a home that collects its own rainwater and generates its own power, so you never have to pay a bill again?

This is a great house and Simon is a great guy, full of energy and knowledge and art.

It's a pity that this is so out of date though. Simon was forced to move on from this house and now lives in the Lammas eco-village where he's building another house.
