Hi Folks,
The boarding house I'm resident in is doing a sponsored 24 hour cycle ride in aid of two charities - Great Ormund Street Childrens' Hospital and a Christian Aid charity that provides ambulance bikes in some of the poorest parts of Africa. The boys in the house are rotating on and off so that for the 24 hours there will be 4 bikes in continuous use, with the unofficial aim to cycle 2000km by this time tomorrow morning.
These two charities are dear to the hearts of the boys - Great Ormund Street saved the life of one when he was younger (he has had over 10 sets of serious surgery since he was a baby), and the other was chosen by one of the tutors in the house who has recent overcome a brain tumour.
Personally I have ended up with the graveyard shift - cycling between 2am and 3am, and supervising the kids between 1am and 5am.
We'd love to shake a few more pennies sponsorship loose, so if you feel like making a donation - no matter how small! - please follow the link below.

Please help me feel better about my night with no sleep!
