Hello Missoula community,

My name is Ryan Gwidt, I'm gonna be moving to Missoula at the end of this month from Patagonia, AZ. I wanted to inquire about the permaculture scene in Missoula and thought what a better place to do so than here. I was wondering what the best way to get involved with the community in this respect. Is there a monthly group that meets up or the best organizations to get involved with? I know MUD and Garden City Farm are two places I saw that look awesome. I also am super into pollinators in general and beekeeping. I saw there were these two blogs http://montanabees.blogspot.com/, http://bigskybeekeepers.hoop.la/ but it looks like they haven't been updated for a long time. I would love to help any beekeepers out there to get a feel for what Montana beekeeping entails. As well as if anyone needs help with hive removals. Also just learning about the native pollinators of the area would be amazing as well.

Thank you very much,

Ryan
