I would suggest that you start a new thread for each topic.  The stuff about the trees should go in "woodland care".  Stuff that is about the more agricultural aspect of permaculture should go in the permaculture forum.

Social stuff might be a fit for the "intentional communities" forum.

Stuff about social justice is probably not a fit for these forums.

so how is this a permaculture forum ? its more like a gardening system website

what happened to Fair Share ? if no social justice issues should be discussed

doesnt the global or universal exist ? why break posts into sub-categories when it applies to the entire planet ?

funny, i haven't seen this as an overtly political forum; and yet, if there's any talk about intentional community, it's political, by its' very nature.

chris

I like it just fine.

at APC9 - Australian Permaculture Convergance 9- 30 years of Permaculture, Permaculture founder, Bill Mollison was encouraging us, indeed trying to organise a Peoples Permaculture Party, a political party for activism...

he was very despondant and quite a bit angry at the state of the world (perhaps even more so)... as the man said "permaculture is more than a gardening system"... indeed there is an entire chapter dedicated to alternative national systems... how is that global, or related to social justice

anyway, I am not going to bother the serene, peculiar localism of permies.com with my radical permaculture ideas that I got from Bill Mollison... will leave the "gardening system only" permies to their ever decreasing gardens, markets and commons

There are lots of places to talk about the social justice aspects of permaculture.  I just want these forums to be focused on the aspects of agriculture, woodland care, intentional community, homesteading and the like.

I get to do that as the site owner.

I think there are a lot of folks that are in the same boat as I am.  This site is for them.  And for me.

Maybe this is one of those things where you might like to come by here for some things, and somewhere else for others.
