Hi everyone,

I am looking for someone that would be interested in helping a single mother as a homestead support worker.

I need to find someone who can act as a nanny for < 3 year old, work alongside mom on the organic homestead in rural Alaska, and be a family support system on the homestead/during travel. The homestead is located 4-6 hours away from Juneau, Alaska. We need someone who enjoys living and working in a rural, off-grid environment.

The position is needed to start in early October. It can be short-term, with potential for a more long-term agreement.

An on-grid, private townhome, car, and food are provided as a part of the contract and an hourly salary is to be provided as compensation based on previous experience.

Couples would be considered if one partner has carpentry, plumbing, and/or electrical experience, as the rural town is in big need of these services, including the homestead in question.

The childcare/family support position would be a full-time, sole-employment commitment.

Feel free to comment if you're interested or have questions and I can provide more details upon request.

Thanks!
