I wasn't sure where to post this, but:
If you want to encourage bats for insect control, or guano you might consider putting on a clay tile roof.

Anita Bell : Thanks for sharing, Bat Houses are very easy to make, needing only Lumber Scraps! You can find plans by a simple google search !

Such Bat Houses were very common additions to barns in the period right after the civil war, both as people moved off of the farms and Rabies
scares increased The Bat Lost its popularity ! Big AL !
