We are trying to build a homestead with gardening and small livestock. 3+ acres are forrested, 1.5+ acres of field and buildings. We have a small house that is full with 3 adult women.

We have a 450 sf building with eletricity, heat, bathroom,  and kitchen that needs repair to be liveable. We have other outbuildings and spaces that could be fixed for living quarters. Plus several spots that could accommodate a trailer home, tiny home, or small cabin. Multiple power drops on site that could run power to various parts of the property.

We're well located at about 10 minutes to a small town with grocery store, 30 minutes to the coast, and 30-40 minutes to multiple small cities.

Looking for partial rent money to cover mortgage payments and part work trade to build fences, plant gardens, tend gardens, tend small livestock (chickens, rabbits, sheep), construct buildings/projects. Longterm is preferred, but open to shorter term as well. Hoping to build a long term small community that works together to live well and support eachother.

Full time working adults need a few more sets of hands to keep the dream moving forward and support more people living good lives long term.

LGBTQ friendly, 420 friendly, Life can be what we make it!

I would be interested! I am a permaculture versed individual who lives in southwestern Oregon and would like very much to help you establish a homestead in exchange for a living space. I consider myself to be moderately skilled in a wide variety of crafts and labors, including woodwork, blacksmithing, gardening, cooking, and tool maintenance. I have most recently been experimenting with utilizing the most efficient examples of human powered tools to replace gas machinery (e.g. scythe=weedwhacker, axe/crosscut saw=chainsaw)  If you are interested and want to know more, please message me and we can discuss particulars of this arrangement. Thank you for putting this out there!

It wasn't my idea to go to some crazy nightclub in the middle of nowhere. I just wanted to stay home and cuddle with this tiny ad:
