Hello fellow plant enthusiasts and creative thinkers,

I think you would be interested in this workshop coming right up. Isla Burgess is a longtime plant advocate, herbal medicine practitioner, and educator from New Zealand. I am honoring the early bird fee through this week since I'm a bit late getting these posts out.

Thanks and have a great day, Danielle

The Dynamic Evolving of the Plant-Person Relationship in Healing
Presented by Isla Burgess; hosted by StringThyme Music and Herbs
June 21-22, 2014 on Vashon Island
10-5 on Saturday 6/21, 10-4 on Sunday 6/22

World-renowned medical herbalist and plant conservator Isla Burgess returns to Vashon Island to present this participatory workshop. From New Zealand, Isla is an inspiring teacher with over forty years of experience as an educator and plant protector. This is a wonderful and rare opportunity to meet Isla and discuss herbalism and insights with a very experienced herbal practitioner.

Throughout the two days you will work with a number of practical processes that allow for a deeper perception of the natural world, specifically the plants growing around you. Combine these skills with your own senses to develop awareness of an individual plant's actions and medicines. All can be done on your own or with a group. See attached doc for more information.

Cost: $295 if registered by June 10th, then $350. A deposit of $150 will reserve your spot. Please send check or money order to:
StringThyme Music and Herbs, P.O. Box 13071, Burton, WA 98013
Payment by credit card will be available at the event; please add 3%.

Contact Danielle for more information at 206-462-0835 or danielle@stringthyme.com
Lunch, snacks, and tea provided both days. There are no overnight on-site accommodations though we will be happy to recommend B&Bs.
