I know nothing about raising grass fed cattle and want to start learning from ground zero. My dad has more than enough land on his property but is too old to care for my cattle. If I were to start with just 1 or 2 cattle what type of individual should I hire to feed and care for them since I live and work in another state? I plan to go back and forth periodically to check on them when I see my dad but need someone to care for the day to day needs of the cattle.
