Anyone here in the GTA? (Greater Toronto area)

My name is Joel. I don't know many people who practice permaculture. Definitely know one who lives near me. Does anyone else here live in the GTA? I'm in Burlington and would love to get to know other permaculture practitioners near me!

A bit of a late post, but I'm also interested in permaculture. My husband and I have managed to do a few things on our property (just outside Acton). At the moment I'm focusing on growing things like hazelnuts (which grow really well here), and growing more native berries, to attract more birds. if you'd like to reach out and share knowledge, let me know.

Do the squirrels leave you with any hazelnuts? I'm in Elora and have been focusing mostly on fruits and vegetables so far. Some exotic fruits for fun too.

Surprisingly the squirrels don't bother with the hazelnuts. I think it might be due to where we planted the bushes. They are between two fields with no trees close by, so nowhere for the squirrels to run from. I have planted some more hazelnuts this year closer to some trees, so we will see if it makes a difference.  We haven't had a lot of luck with fruit this year, but the vegetables have done well.
