I am starting to learn a little about these.  Anybody else use these?

I tried to add some content here to the sites, but it looks like I need about three more people to agree that it is good before anything happens.

Anybody wanna play?

While I don't use these services, I can see them being appropriate on subject pages such as cast iron.  In the forums, I think they would be out of place.

Well, I put some of the stuff at the bottom of the lawn care article.  Only to learn that folks don't need little icons to put the article into that stuff.  A lot of folks!  Pretty cool!

As for fitting the forums.  I dunno.  On reddit there is a permaculture section and I added the thread called "Is permaculture economically viable?" - I think it's a damn good fit!

Awesome!  Thanks Chris!

I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around all this.  My impression is that you submit and then your submission might get approved minutes later, hours later or never.  Then, it might not get onto the main board.  But if it gets just one more vote it probably will.  Three or four in the first hour and it is far more likely.  Then others can see it and vote.

Does that sound about right?

Oh, I'm not sure. You're doing a great job, regardless.
