WOW I had never thought of using seaweed in housing
construction. then I saw an article about it.
Sems like people in the older days did use it
and the insulation value and more are being
brought back as seaweed is CO2 negative!

This was a case of desperate times and desperate measures. They cut down all of their trees.

People in Ireland have burned peat for fuel, because they cut down most of their trees.

When you look at timber frames from times past, in some areas the quality of raw materials drops over time due to poor forest management and lack of suitable resources.
