Watch out!

Good ideas (energy efficiency) have gone main stream.

Riccola built a warehouse in Switzerland using rammed earth.

But not is some craftsmanly hand-done way. Rather the age-old schism in Architecture of craftsman design versus the industrialised era of modern 'pre-fab panel'.

I already know there are opinions expressed on this site. I am just sharing innovation news. This is a derivation of 'cob' which leads to 'adobe' which leads to pressed 'brick'.

Here is a relevant advancement/adoption of a good material, with good value, being utilized by big money because it MAKES SENSE!

While we haven't achieved the craftsman paradigm shift that many wish to see extremely soon, we do seee a realisation and movement towards better observation and more effective analysis of embodied energy in the design of a warehouse, which we will always need at some scale.
