Some of our pear trees grafted onto quince rootstock and planted at the edge of our marsh do fine with their roots under water for six months of the year!

I'm on the Canadian west coast - Where can I get my hands on some quince seeds that I could use as rootstock?

Why seeds ?
Every quince tree I know sends out suckers each year . Find someone with a quince tree nearby and beg a sucker off them . Quicker than seeds plus you will get a known type
I you lived near me you could have a dozen no problem.

I guess it all boils down to me finding someone local with a quince tree... Maybe I will.

I live on an island so my initial idea was to look for seeds online.
