Could have been trampled or it could have been respiratory in nature or it could be a disease of some sort. I would think if it was trampling, that they would have broken bones or internal bleeding, if respiratory there should be some discharge at the nose or fluid in the lungs. You should do an autopsy to determine what killed them then take the steps necessary to keep it from happening again. Mine are in a community living habitat but it is huge by most folks standards, it could be that a buck decided those little ones needed to go and he killed them. I've noticed that our does keep their babies in their nursery until they are large enough to fend for themselves. It could be that you need to separate the mom and babies until she shows signs of wanting them out of her way, or if they are weaned, to move them to a nursery hutch till they have grown enough to fend for them selves in the community space.
