My eldest son and I have spent three years bringing a semi-ruin slowly back to life, it still needs work, but the annex is done - my 80 year old mum lives in it - and the new bedroom was finished this spring giving much needed space to the main house.

It is NOT a large house but we have enjoyed it, the understory once held sheep but now is quite handy for storage and our little dogs hiding from the winter rains.

The house has no land attached, hence the shockingly low price, but there is always a chance to buy or rent a field,  and if you are getting older the way I am, even the half field we use now through a neighbor is getting too much for me so the lack of land might indeed suit.

It is NOT PERFECT, or even done, the main house needs roof work and floors but unlike most places at this price, it is livable, has power and water and internet, is near a main road to get you to places like Porto, or Pont de Lima, or Paredes de Coura, or Valenca, easily and swiftly.

I put the ad and an english translation of the text.

Traditional stone house, divided into two floors, measuring approximately 40 m2, with an open patio and an annex measuring approximately 30 m2.
It is a traditional Minho house, made of granite, originally with the living area on the upper floor and the lower floor would be the spaces for cuts, storage area and/or cellar.
The property already has some restoration and improvement work under development, and it is planned to be used with the two areas separately. The annex, in stone and wood, planned for independent use, has a kitchen area, with sink, sink, fridge, stove, shower, storage,
a work/office area and also a bed. It has a cylinder for heating water. In the main house, originally with two rooms, one being the kitchen and the other with the living room and bedroom, another closed area was created, with a bed and work area, with a window onto the patio. It has a stove, refrigerator,
washing machine and wood stove for heating. On the lower floor the floor was covered with gravel.
The location has all the necessary public infrastructure (sanitation, water and electricity) and also has fiber optic Internet access, with the property connected to public sanitation.

It is located in a very calm place,
with good sun exposure and panoramic views of the countryside and nature. It is in the parish of Agualonga, approximately 15 minutes by car from the center of the village of Paredes de Coura. It should also be noted that the property is just 800 meters away, a 10-minute walk, from the famous pilgrimage route, the Camino de Santiago,
This could be an interesting possibility for investment in a tourist unit.
It is close to the national road that connects Ponte de Lima to the south and to Valença to the north. There are cafes, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy nearby.
In the town of Paredes de Coura you have access to all public services and essential services such as supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, schools, banks, various shops, etc., everything you need for everyday life, and also a varied and vibrant cultural offer, full of activities for all tastes and for all ages.
