Hi all, I'm Chris, and I built GetLocalEggs.com. Full disclosure: it's my site.

It's a directory for people with a laying flock who sell the extra eggs: a backyard flock, a homestead, a small farm. You make a page for your farm and post what you have that morning: kinds, how many and a price, or "price at pickup". There's a "same as yesterday" button, so the daily update takes one tap. Buyers search by zip code, find someone nearby, and send a pickup request. You accept it or turn it down.

What it deliberately doesn't do:
- No payments. Buyer and seller settle up in person, and the site takes no cut.
- Your address isn't public. The directory shows your town and a rough map pin. The exact pickup spot goes only to a buyer whose request you accept.
- We don't sell eggs, arrange delivery or vouch for anyone.

Each state also has a plain-English page on its egg-selling rules, quoting the state's own sources. We don't decide whether you're legal. That page says what your state's rule says.

Listing is free while we launch, in any US state. If you sell eggs, I'd be glad if you tried it and told me what's missing or annoying. I'll answer questions here.

List your farm on GetLocalEggs.com

They weren't very bright, but they were very, very big. Ad contrast:
