Hello,

Would I save money by mixing my own lime/ sand mortar as opposed to buying bags of portland cement mortar? Also, there are lots of good youtube videos on how to lay bricks. Would I be able to use the same laying techniques with lime mortar, or does it have to go on differently?

If you haven't used lime mortar before, these guys have pre-mixed mortar that is very high quality and easy to use. limeworks
They also have loads of info.
