Hello gang! I just grew a Potawatomi red flour corn and a Potawatomi red flint or Mskigwat corn. Anybody heard of the Potawatomi strain of the red flour corn? I'm looking for more seeds of them since mine got eaten by critters in my greenhouse when I try to grow them.

Update! I found out some Potawatomi types of non corn including a gray pumpkin that looked like a grayish green overgrown zucchini with an orange spot, a small muskmelon from Indiana, Tecumseh flint corn, gray woman bean which used to be grown from throughout the Great Lakes, a strain of amaranth, grandmother squash (larger than the Gete Oksomin one) and a 300 year tobacco from Mexico to the Great Lakes (tabacum type). Still trying to make my Potawatomi garden better for all, people and wildlife. Please share some me things to help me create my garden in a historic and ancient fashion so my neighborhood will see the original beauty and majesty of what the growing landscape looked like years ago. Thanks!

Happy November! Is there any way to make mandamin vegetarian without no oil or salt to maintain perfect health? Anybody had vegetarian corn soup or stew before?

Hello all! Long time no see! I wanna find out if you all heard of an Indian rainbow corn which is now an ornamental type. The corn was once been used for flour, hominy and as a sweet corn in the milk stage, but it has been forgotten in this present time. Anybody know more history of that corn? I spoke to a guy from Michigan and found out that another guy used that kinda corn on Wapole Island and it grew 12 feet as long as added manure. Who has grown it before? Please let me know in this chat box. Thanks!
