Hi Ryan,
My wife Martha and I are interested in coming up to visit you homestead, if that is an option.  We currently live in Hot Springs AR, we really desire to live in community with like minded people that love Jesus and want to live healthy.  Are you still seeking families to live off-grid on your land? I’d like to know a little more about this!
Thanks,
Greg Copeland

Hi, family of 3. We have no experience but are willing to learn and pull our own weight. Trying to find a Christian homestead community for these coming times especially with digital id making its round.

My name is Matthew. I'm single and 41 years of age. I love being outdoors and away from the city. The idea of off grid living came to me when I was 35. I was successfully living in Oregon for 3years and maintained a job and had gotten a dog for companionship. I never found or discovered people of like mind to accompany me. I also wasn't in an ideal location for farming as water was too far away. Everything that kept me there was more or less brought in every few months. I'm very hardworking and 8 know I have the ability to help with daily tasks and put in the time with a group of people or alone when needed. I am great at gardening, I have carpentry experience. I've never built a house but I have built a deck and small storage structures. Please send me an email with more information if you would consider taking me in. luckyleprochaun@yahoo.com

I have been given this vision and so excited to see this invite.  I'd love to learn more but also interested in areas near the western Rockies, sw Idaho, Montana.  I'd love to put my skills to use and build refuge for the times to come and be light to the hurting world.  Currently doing so on my tini urban homestead but desperately need out of the city.  Whatever the Father directs, I will obey.

We have 5 kids at home, homeschool and come with a variety of useful skills.

Is this community on going.  I’ve been looking exactly for this.  What do I need to do to move forward. I’m closing on escrow and going to head out with God as our guide to find others aware of the days and willing to stand for their faith.

This post is old and I don't know if they are still active, but if you are open to something similar in the Texas Panhandle, then check us out at FYREshire.org and see what we are working on. We just launched our website less than a week ago (July 4th!) and are interested in building something with likeminded folks. We have not acquired land yet, but are working to build some community first and figure out who is interested in working side-by-side to build the community that we want to live in.

Hi Heather and Ryan,

I am very interested and would love to come out and meet you and see the land. Is there anything you can share more in detail privately? I can then also share more about myself and my family. Thanks

Wes and Diana

My name is Dawn DesJardins, and I'm writing with my husband Mark. We live in northern Michigan, and we believe God is calling us toward a small community of believers — people who love Jesus, work with their hands, and want to be ready for what's coming.
A little about our family: together we've raised seven children. Our youngest, Emma, is 10 — a sweet, creative girl who loves animals, and she'd come with us. We lost our home in a house fire last year and have been rebuilding from the ground up since. That fire took a lot from us, but it burned away a lot of what didn't matter too. What matters is Jesus, family, and being where God wants us.
Horses are a big part of our story. Since 1995 I've mentored kids and teens every summer in horsemanship — teaching responsibility and confidence through daily horse care — and I take in horses people have given up on, rehabilitating them with patience and consistency. Mark has been my right hand around the horses for a couple of years — feeding, handling, helping with groundwork — though the training and breaking is my department, not his. Animals have always been one of the ways God uses us to reach young people.
Caregiving is our other calling. I'm a Direct Support Professional — I work with people with developmental disabilities, administer medications, and follow treatment plans. I'm CPR certified. Earlier in life I owned and operated a Christian childcare and learning center serving mostly underprivileged youth. Mark spent years in home health care too — wound care, feeding tubes, medications, the unglamorous faithful work. Between us, we're comfortable with medical needs, kids in crisis, and the daily routines that hold a household together.
I also do ministry in the ways I can — I write faith-based music, and I built a free survival and Scripture app called Ready & Rooted (ready-and-rooted.pages.dev). It's fully offline with no ads and no accounts: the Bible in 1,300 languages, survival and first-aid guides, kids' Bible stories, and live weather alerts. Every week we're adding around 20 new Bible translations in languages that never had Scripture before.
Mark is a musician and does electrical work — he trained under his father, a licensed journeyman electrician, so wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs are second nature to him.
We're self-supporting with our own income, and we have a camper we can live in, so we wouldn't need housing right away. We also have a small dog and our cats — they're family.
We're not looking to be served — we're looking to serve. Land to clear, buildings to raise and wire, horses to gentle, kids to love on, medical needs to tend, a worship night that needs a guitar — we're there.
If this sounds like it could be a fit, we'd love to talk more: about your community, what you need most, and how we can be praying for you even now.
God bless you all,
Dawn
