Hi yall, We're planning on acquiring meat rabbits the first of November & we're designing our rabbitry habitat/shelter in anticipation of our new arrivals. We would like to go the colony route & have been reading/researching suggestions from those who've gone before us. I found an interesting photo of a chicken run that I might possibly like to adapt for our rabbitry. I'm considering laying wire on the ground to keep the bunnies from boroughing. But I'm wondering if white rock surrounding the perimeter would keep the ladies from digging out? I'm suspicious that it wouldn't...but looking for opinions/thoughts....

Here's photo I was considering: http://www.backyardchickens.com/g/i/6581190/small-coop-and-run-for-happy-and-safe-chickens-and-ducks/sort/display_order/
