Hi! I've been hanging around here for awhile.
I garden in Western Canada in a beautiful little warm micro-climate that makes up part of the Canadian Badlands. Rudyard Kipling once said we have all of hell for a basement.
This is my favorite quote. It was a little long for a signature so I'll share it here.
"A human being
should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conne a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, comfort the dying, set a bone, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."
I have big dreams of owning
land and creating a self-sustaining community in the future so I'm learning all I can. Looking forward to discussions with you all.
