Hello everyone,

My wife and I are looking for a hard-working, dependable, self-starting intern May1 - October 1 at Full Circle Farm in Victor, ID. We are a CSA/market farm on 7 acres with ~2+ acres in vegetable production. You will be expected to work 40-45 hours a week, Monday-Friday or four 10-hour days Tuesday-Friday + 1 weekend a month. The internship will focus primarily on organic/biodynamic farming (we are currently OG certified and are pursuing Demeter BD certification this summer) and will mostly include field work in the vegetable gardens and greenhouses. You will also be asked to manage volunteer crews, work with permaculture design principles, practice holistic land management, cook community meals, and learn food preservation skills. In exchange for your work, we will be offering room (yurt) and board (farm veggies, staples) in addition to the learning experience. We will also offer a modest stipend starting at $100/month.

Other opportunities include visiting other farms in the area (which include a permaculture learning center, biodynamic dairy, a dairy goat farm), exposure to a non-profit education program we host on the farm, and potential involvement in local food organizations like Slow Food in the Tetons. During your days off, you can find fantastic hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and climbing with immediate access to the Teton Range (literally in our back yard), Big Hole Mountains, and Snake River Range nearby. Victor is also a vibrant small town with live music every Thursday night during the summer months and Grand Targhee Music and Bluegrass festivals.

For a full internship description and application, respond to this post or visit our website and go to Contact Us.
