About The Website

Credit: Overview prepared by Kaye Derama

Pantry Paratus is a website started by Chaya and Wilson in January 2011. It's also run by them and the whole family. The website's cool name was driven from the Latin word of "prepared” or "ready” which is "paratus”. They named the website as such because their goal is for everyone to be keen on every piece of food they put on the table. It's also their goal that everyone is "paratus” for the lean pantry times, hence, the name "Pantry Paratus”.

Products

They believe that knowing where the food came from and how it was prepared is an important factor in insuring that the whole family is eating right. That's why they came up with awesome ideas that will help anyone make their own tasty food. They are very proud of their products.

For starters, they have these Skill Starter products like the Pantry Paratus Canning Starter Kit and the Beginner's Bread Baking Kit. To make the most out of what you're cooking, you need to have the best ingredients or spices in your kitchen. Since it is their goal to serve you with the best, Pantry Paratus also made spices that are organic and 100% non-GMO.

Pantry Paratus also has equipment to make your own cheese. They sell a Cheese Making Kit that will make a sure fire tasty cheese. And with this kit, they also have all the supplies you need for making the cheese.
Aside from organic products and DIY kits, they also offer self-help books that will teach you every step of the way. One of their very famous books is the "Preserve It Naturally” book. This book is about preserving food in a natural way. Its focus is on meat preservation.

Another of their products is the Berkey Water filtration system. This is actually a purification system that will sterilize water and make it safe to drink, healthy and fresh. They assure you 99.9999% success for crystal clear drinking water.
There are more products that they can offer you and all of these products will make your pantry "paratus”.

From an email I received:

A Personal Letter about Pantry Paratus’ Store Closing & Blog Restructuring

It’s time for us to reconfigure.  Our family must come first.  So for this, we are going to continue the Pantry Paratus blog without the store.  The store has given us so many opportunities to connect with you over the years.  We enjoyed long phone conversations with complete strangers—the conversations may start about pressure canner sizes and end with this year’s tomato crop or what you sold at your farmer’s market.  We have had the opportunity to love and be loved, to pray for and be prayed for time and time again.  Oh, I will miss this.

So please tell me that you will still follow our blog, our Facebook page, and our newsletter happenings.  We have much to share because we have much to learn—from you!

In the meantime, we’re estimating the reconfiguration for the first of the New Year.  We still have a lot in stock, and we will be selling out of the inventory we have until then.  We appreciate your business in our final days of serving you in this particular capacity.  Thank you for your faithful patronage.
Please feel free to share this with anyone you know that has enjoyed or benefited from Pantry Paratus, but might not receive our newsletter.

May your holidays be blessed.

From our family to yours,
Wilson & Chaya
