I'm not sure if wofati is going to be it's own pep1 or if it's covered/subsumed by broader stuff like natural building, timber framing, earthworks, etc., or if maybe it's part of pep2? Either way, I thought I'd get the conversation started since I'm probably the biggest wofati enthusiast this side of the mississippi. Below are my initial thoughts and suggestions. Hopefully lots more folks will chime in, and maybe Paul will drop by and make a more official-ish list.

white belt

- read the wofati article on richsoil.com
- read mike oehler's 50$ and up Underground House Book (and the Earth-Sheltered Solar Greenhouse book?)
- watch mike oehler's 3 dvd set on Affordable Underground Housing
- design and build a working scale model of a sepp-style wofati animal shelter, functional for small livestock: (rabbits, ducks, chickens, etc.)
- spend a certain amount of time in a wofati
- design a wofati house for an idealized or real-life site
- identify trees that could be used to build a wofati

green belt

- fell, limb, stump, and debark a certain number of trees, properly storing them for future use if they aren't used right away
- test at least two different treatment methods for below-grade posts
- notch and join a certain number of posts and beams
- participate in building a wofati house (maybe specify key phases to be part of?)
- design and build a working wofati animal shelter large enough to clean out with a tractor, functional for larger livestock: (pigs, goats, cows, etc.)
- design multiple iterations of a wofati house for idealized and real-life sites
- design and build a scale model of a wofati house (and then destroy it through systematic stress tests?)

brown belt

- design and build a wofati house
- live in it for 2(?) years without additional heating or cooling
please buy my thing and then I'll have more money:
