I just swung by toby hemenway’s (author of Gaia’s Garden: A Guide to Home-Scale Permaculture) facebook page and noticed that his second book will be shipping July 1st of this year. Yay! He writes:

I've just gotten word that my new book on urban permaculture is due to ship on July 1. The title is officially "The Permaculture City." Dang, I'm pretty excited. I'll be lining up an East and West Coast book tour, and lots more. Anyone with good media and promotional contacts, let me know, as I'd like to get the word out big time.

It's a great little book. In fact, I just finished reading and reviewing it for the upcoming issue of Pip Magazine. Great for urban permies - of course - but also to bring those that dream of going bush back to reality.
