I currently live in Charlotte, NC but am looking to move a little outside the city. I have been interested in plants for many years but really started down my current path about three years ago. I started with an interest in building a greenhouse and organicgardening but that then morphed into aquaponics and then microponics (intregrated system of aquaponics with additional systems-- livestock/worms/etc). While researching all of that, I found permaculture and the myriad of topics associated. Low power, biodigesters, silvopasture and wholistic grazing management are large interests of mine at this point. THat being said, I enjoy nearly every topic and am always looking for new and interesting ideas.
I am a data architect during the day and enjoy the work that I do. I tend to enjoy large complex systems with vast interactions which is probably why I've been drawn towards this path.
