Some people say that the petrol companies can stop us having low maintenance cost cars and lorries and it looks like low buying price vehicles.
On the other hand i have heard the lecture of a man who said that they can make low cost cars and lorries which use
energy efficiently and hardly use fossil fuels and that private people and lorry drivers will want them and so we will get them, he also said china would want to save money and buy less petrol and so would make them and then we could buy them.
it seems that racign cars have proved that
carbon fiber is safer than metal and so cars will be made of carbon fiber that will lower their cost as well as making them safer.
He is sarcastic about a hundred years of loving engineering with such a poor result on the efficient use of energy front.
I suppose lorry drivers and
tractor owners will want them more than private people as fuel is often a big part of their expenses. There are people with businesses on these forums, Brenda Groth's son has a tractor, Fred Morgan has a food business maybe a lorry, do they think that the oil companies will stop people buying things that have a low maintenance cost because of better technology or will obtaining low cost vehicles be something no one can stop?
