Hey YOU! Please help! 1.5 acre clean sub-tropical canvas

I would love some recommendations.. I have purchased 1.5 acres on cleared land in the sub-tropics (near Byron Bay in Australia). I intend to build and develop a permaculture paradise.

Only little problem is that I wont be able to move up north (currently living in Sydney) for some time due to financials.

My question is - Would anyone have any recommendations as to types of seeds I could scatter around to start nitrogen fixing. Pigeon Pea etc? Im going up for a quick visit and would be amazing if I could throw around the correct seeds to begin the soil improving process in the meantime before moving up permanently.

I'd be so grateful to hear any suggestions - I will be going up to visit the land next week!

im from the states and new to this stuff in general but, maybe you could add an acacia tree and or radish/turnip to brake up the soil in the no till mold?

myself, im taking over an overworked tobacco farm so I have compacted, acid soil so im looking for pioneer plants in addition to the above.

If the land is completely clear, consider the earthworks stage, which is often neglected or underutilized on small sites already crowded with infrastructure and trees. Do some mapping and look into ponds, swales, keylining and other such activities that, once done, yield lifetimes of benefits. And now is the opportunity, before you have anything else in place.
