Share recollections of your favorite all wild Montana meal!

My favorite is :

We hiked all day & got socked in by rain & fog near a mountain lake.

We threw up a poncho shelter & made a fire, the boys had a pole & caught  some trout. Meanwhile I foraged around & found some wild onions.

Earlier on the foot hills by what I'd guess was an old homestead site, I picked some wild asparagus & put it in my pack for munching.

We found a flat rock & put it to the fire, I stuffed the trout with asparagus & wild onions & used twigs to hold them closed. We cooked the fish on the hot rock & it was the best meal I ever foraged in the wild.
No salt, no pepper.....still just delicious
