Good day all.  Kevin and Amanda here.  We are a family of five who have finally purchased a 5 acre farm in south central alberta (edge of the desert that my sister is in).  We still have not got there as we are waiting for our house in civilization to sell.  We are looking forward to raising bees, goats, chickens and veggies.  Thank you all for this web forum, we have found much invaluable information and hope to pass along our mistakes and successes as we go along.

Best of luck with your move to Alberta...I live in Michigan and we tend to get your weather several days after you are done with it in Alberta..some of our storms are called "albera clippers"..tee hee..

so i know what you will be dealing with..hope your home is already built and insulated..blessings..
