Has anyone attempted an array like this? Converting heat to mechanical and then storing? Please say yes!
I'm planning on building in mountainous forests in Washington and the land and I don't want to clearcut for solar. Any advice is appreciated greatly!

Bete Melculum :Actually, yes this has been discussed and it has its fervent supporters, unfortunately while the idea of sterling engines are attractive we are
still looking for Sterlings that transform heat energy into work at decent efficiencies !

At the top of this page to the right of our suPer Permies Farmer is the Permies Tool box !

By Clicking on Search when I went to our search engine I was enabled to enter rocket mass heater and Sterling Engine in the Search field and
channel my search Within Permies.com
