hardworking couple with skills to offer, seeking further experience - fall 2015

Hello!

My partner and I currently live on Orcas Island in a small community and have been wwoofing for a couple months and are ready for a new place in the area to learn and share this fall. We have found it challenging to find a place that needs and accommodates for those in a relationship and also provides any amount of income or balanced work/trade agreement. We are both serious about lifelong learning and living a healthy life and sharing with others in community. Aside from farming/gardening for several seasons, we both have a variety of experience in childcare, teaching, graphic design, outdoor ed, sailing, photo/video production, natural building, artmaking, writing, herbalism, cooking/fermenting/preserving, hospitality, and conservation work to name a few.

We are greatly interested in expanding our understanding and experience in herbalism, natural building, yoga, cooking, community living, leadership, activism, permaculture design, social permaculture, mycology, and outreach/education. Hello, we are located aprox 30 min west of Portland Oregon. We have a homestead/ farmstead program on our 23 acre farm. We offer a quarter acre home sight with electric, water, fire wood, and laundry facility included for $700/ Month + $700 dep. Living here also gains you access to share the rest of the farm ( 20 acres ) for cultivalion, livestock, ect.
