I am sharing this on the music forum since it seems appropriate for all of us that love the arts.
One of our summer farm intern, Camille Loomis, is a teacher in the delta through the "Educate America" program introducing music to a rural public school. She inherited a lot of broken and stringless instruments. She has spent a lot of time researching repairs and hoping for a little help in funding this, since the school board has no money for such things.
please check this out - she heads back to MS on Saturday and will work with a music store to have more instruments for her kids.
thanks!!!
