Hey all

My wife and I have decided to sell our place in KS and move back home to AL. We will be full-time RVing until we find a reason to settle in a specific location. We are primarily looking within 100 miles of Gadsden, excluding the greater Bham metro. Ideally, she will find a gig in music/worship and we will buy some land. Then I can begin transforming it into a full-time permaculture/silvo-pasture business. If anyone knows of any temp/part time permaculture jobs opening up around Feb 2016, please let me know. Im on a military contract in Saudi Arabia writing graduate level curriculum till then, though the wife will be moving in the fall. You can see our current efforts at https://www.facebook.com/CenturionsFaithFarm.

Thanks!

Hi Larry,

Don't know of any jobs, but like a lit of permie people in north alabama, very much interested in community. I came back to alabama bout a year ago. Have a a few hard scrabble acres about 20-30 min west of Jasper, tiny town of Nauvoo. Have yet to start any planting. Still getting the lay of the land, but welcome to yall. Would love to hear about your search. A nod will be sure to let you know of any properties I hear about.

Yvonne

Thanks! We are helping my mom in Etowah County for now, but as soon as I find a definite job we will be looking for a property. I have family in Jasper and spent most of my mis-spent youth in the Sipsey, so I love the area your in!
