Hi, I have started a small farm (32acres) at Mango Hill, about 34kms north of the Brisbane CBD, in Queensland, Australia. I am moving to Adelaide, which as many of you will know is just a little too far for a daily commute.

So what to do with my working farm? What do I mean by working? There is one boar, Kevin Bacon, and his eight sows. I planned on expanding this number to 15 over the next 12 months. On a planned rotational breeding system, these animals, at the moment keep the farm afloat. There is one 36m x 36m chook pen fenced, with a shed on it. The ground work will be finished next week (Early Aug 2015). I have about 200 fruit and nut trees in the ground, and room for another 200 to be planted out. I run a small gaggle of about 45 geese. The yard, and market can easily sustain more. Time permitting. I am committed to building a house on the property as well. This will be available for any and all that take up this offer.

I am offering the opportunity to someone/s, or a group, or individuals with differing goals, who are serious about getting/having the opportunity to work on a farm. I am committed to this to the point of offering all the money made from the farm.

I would like to see some investment, in both time, and financial, as I will be gone at least a few years, and would like to see this grow into a life for somebody.

Jody

Hello Jody! We are a couple from the US looking to work on a farm and get a way from all of the stresses and headaches of certain life "deals". If you would like to look at my profile and see if my husband and I would be a good fit for your farm, that would be awesome. We have always discussed moving out of the country and would love to enjoy Austrailia and all of its beauty. We would need about 30 to 45 days to get matters in order to fly over and all of the good stuff that goes along with it. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I've tried. I've been registered there for a few years, but when i came to post, I wasn't permitted. I have emailed them twice trying to find out why. No reply yet.
